The Battleships Cometh
I had the opportunity this weekend to meet up with an old college friend, Jon, over at the Middle East. Him and his band, the Battleships Cometh, are in a battle of the bands competition. I know Jon is a talented guy, but I didn’t really know what to expect since I’d never actually heard them before.
These guys were awesome. They music was great, they were nice and loud, energetic, and very entertaining to watch. They ended up moving onto the next round out in Worcester later this week, so congrats to those guys. Check em out here if interested: http://thebattleshipscometh.com
It was a good time. I got in some good practice with the dark club. It was challenging with the bright red/orange lights so close and the fast moving energy on the stage, but I think I’m happy with the outcome. Here are a few from the day:
